Copyright Policy
Iraqi Journal of Aquaculture is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, which allows users to copy, to create extracts, abstracts and new works from the Article, to alter and revise the Article, and to make commercial use of the Article (including reuse and/or resale of the Article by commercial entities), provided the user gives appropriate credit (with a link to the formal publication through the relevant DOI), provides a link to the license, indicates if changes were made and the licensor is not represented as endorsing the use made of the work. The authors hold the copyright for their published work on the Iraqi Journal of Aquaculture website, while Iraqi Journal of Aquaculture responsible for appreciate citation for their work, which is released under CC-BY-4.0 enabling the unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of an article in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
Archiving Policy
The journal's published papers are archived in the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals.
Open Access Policy
The Iraqi Journal of Aquaculture is an open-access journal, therefore there are no fees required for downloading any publication from the journal website by authors, readers, and institutions. Review Policy
After the manuscript is checked to ensure that it conforms to the journal's scope and that the author has complied with all its requirements, it is sent to two or three anonymous reviewers.
The journal follows Double-Blind Peer Review Guidelines, both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.
Publication charge policy and waiver policy statement
IJAQ is an open-access journal, so there are no subscription fees. The journal charges 50.000 IQD for a single accepted manuscript to cover publishing service costs.
There is no charge until the manuscript is accepted for publication. Authors residing outside Iraq will not pay any publication fees at the moment.
Plagiarism policy
The author should submit an original manuscript and an unpublished article for IJAQ. The manuscript must include a proper citation without plagiarism/duplication of the authors' previous work. The manuscript will be submitted to Turnitin's plagiarism detection software, which belongs to our journal, before being sent to the reviewers. The IJAQ board will reject the manuscript if plagiarism is detected at any publication stage. In addition, we will not accept manuscripts that are submitted elsewhere.
